Nursing contact hours will be awarded for this activity.  Credit for NJ ALS personnel is determined by the clinical coordinator of your sponsoring MICU.

Description

This program provides general evidence-based guidelines for the assessment and stabilization of sick infants in the post-resuscitation / pre-transport stabilization period.  S.T.A.B.L.E. is a mnemonic used to organize six key assessment and care modules of the course.  More information about the program is available at http://www.stableprogram.org .

Prerequisites

Attendees should be credentialled health professionals (physician, resident, midwife, nurse, paramedic, respiratory therapist, etc.) involved with initial newborn care.
